Quiet attention.
Intentional frames.

The Story

This is not a travel blog.
It is a body of work.

"I'm not looking for the perfect moment —
just the honest one."

My name is Akash, and I shoot under the name The Second Glance — a Bay Area-based photography practice built around a single pursuit: images that feel cohesive, timeless, and honest. I travel for the right project.

The work spans four territories: grand landscapes, wildlife caught in a single unguarded moment, the quiet stillness of human subjects, and the geometry of urban light and shadow. The thread connecting them isn't a location or a technique — it's attention. The belief that if you stay still long enough, the world gives you something worth keeping.

I've photographed El Ateneo's readers, the mist above Iguazú, flamingos mid-motion, and the street shadows of Santiago — and closer to home, the Bay Area in all its quiet light. Every frame passes one test: does it still hold on a second glance?
